THE MISSION OF ACTS REVIVAL CENTER AND MICHAEL-JOHN MINISTRIES
We believe the Spirit of truth guides us into all truth. We believe that the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ is the center of our faith in all that is and is to come, forever and ever. As worshipers, we seek to worship in spirit and truth. We are dedicated to bringing the true word of God with purity, power and authority to local, regional and world communities, one soul at a time, building the kingdom of God upon this earth, until the time of Christ’s return. Amen.
ABOUT REV. MICHAEL-JOHN TOSTE
Michael-John Toste is the founder and Pastor of Acts Revival Center/Michael-John Ministries, a premier apostolic and prophetic ministry serving the Greater Northern California Bay for over a decade.
Before launching Michael-John Ministries in 1999, Michael-John was a successful singer, songwriter and musician, signing a record deal at 20 years of age. He was the lead singer for a popular recording group, appearing on Dick Clark’s American Bandstand, MTV, and Solid Gold to name a few. The band reached The Top 100 Billboard Hits twice and performed on television and in live concerts for over fifty million people in 36 countries. Michael-John was invited to perform at a private reception for Secretary of State Henry Kissinger and also for President Ronald Regan.
Though music continues to be an important part of his life, Michael-John realized he needed the Lord in his life. He left his music career, made a commitment to the Lord and gave his heart to Jesus Christ. His decision to serve the Lord led to twelve years of training with Prophetic and Apostolic ministers. He also embarked upon a career for 24 years as a business consultant, opening his own firm World View Marketing and Media Consulting and writing his own newspaper column offering principles for success.
After being ordained and licensed by Bishop Vern Owen’s who pioneered over 60 churches throughout the USA, Michael-John launched his own ministry in Silicon Valley and was the first Spirit filled Prophetic Minister invited to minister at the prestigious Santa Clara University Campus for six months.
In 2001 Michael-John Ministries hosted the “World Summit of the Prophets”, a powerful Prophetic Conference. Michael-John’s anointed prophetic ministry reached millions of Californians daily through his radio program, “Your Day of Destiny”. His career and ministry have led him to churches throughout the United States and to our nation’s capitol when he was invited to minister at The White House and asked to pray and prophesy to a member of Congress.
With the tragic events of September 11, 2001 heavy in our hearts, Michael-John was inspired by God to present a special anointed tribute event in Washington, D. C. on the first anniversary of the terrorist attack. Over 1,800 Pentagon employees and surviving family members attended the tribute that included performances by Ron Kenoli and a 100 member choir, Randy Travis, Roberta Flack, an appearance by former Heavy Weight Champion of the World, Mohammad Ali, along with the honorary support from over forty-five members of Congress. As victims of the terrorist attack were remembered and honored throughout the event, many souls found solace in the offered prayers and the Lord was glorified as surviving family members were encouraged and the multitude fed.
Ministering through his music, CD teaching series, a radio show, conferences and his Apostolic and Prophetic ministry, Michael-John continues reaching out with upcoming publication of his first book titled, “The Prophetic Matrix,” documenting his prophetic walk and miracle journey serving the Lord.
Michael-John continues to minister weekly at Acts Revival Center and mentor Christian business executives and believers who seek to discover their destiny and wish to live a more abundant and productive life in Christ.
